Bringing the flavour of Australia into the office

As one of the Restaurant Associates Diversity, Equity & Inclusion pillars, we prioritise supporting, respecting and collaborating with Indigenous suppliers and partners. One such partnership is with Creative Native who work with Indigenous and small rural farmers across Australia to sustainably and ethically harvest seasonal native ingredients and produce.

We recently worked with Creative Native and one of our global clients during NAIDOC week to showcase the wonderful work they do at an educational event on site for our client’s teams:

Highlights from the day included:

  • Introductions to the most popular Indigenous native ingredients
  • What regions they are found
  • Recipes for a unique and authentic taste of Australia

Food is an important hallmark of any culture, and this engaging and interactive session promoted a variety of native ingredients and traditions in a unique way. It also ensured our client’s teams were engaged, enriching their workday through educational experiences.

The teams at Restaurant Associates pride ourselves on sourcing and delivering initiatives like this for our corporate clients in order to enhance their office experience, in line with their Diversity and Inclusion goals, and supporting our own.
