RA with Taronga Zoo established Australia’s first MSC (Marine Steward Council) restaurant, and we like to share this philosophy as broadly as we can.

RA has teamed up with Westpac to pilot a special program aimed at creating employment pathways for Indigenous young adults in the hospitality sector. The Warrigal Program offers participants industry qualifications, real-world experience and holistic support, opening the doors for future employment.
We have recently started a program to install kitchen gardens in the urban landscapes in which we work, providing a harmonious blend of functional and wholistic space.
Bread & Butter Project
All the bread for our own restaurant, Bistro Mint, is sourced from a social enterprise bakery established by Bourke Street Bakery founders to empower the disadvantaged in Sydney.
Part of RA’s commitment to sustainability is minimising food wastage and maximising community gain. A key partner in this is Oz Harvest, a national food rescue organisation, who redistribute surplus food from our corporate clients and functions to charities and people in need.
