Restaurant Associates at the AMF Gala Dinner

Another year, another success! Restaurant Associates again delivered a fabulous Australian Museum Foundation Gala Dinner in our newly renovated top floor space The Terrace. Culinary General Manager Sebastien Lutaud tailored a mouth-watering menu to the delight of the 212 guests attending the fundraising event including the who’s who of the science community.

MC Sandra Sully and performer Damien Leith wowed the crowd while the Restaurant Associates crew delivered a delectable meal of Tassal smoked salmon, crème fraiche terrine, dill and our pickled cucumbers, followed by seared scallops, butternut pumpkin, Warrigal greens and Kombu butter and braised Riverina lamb shoulder, dashi, parsnip puree and brussels sprouts

With dozens of fabulous silent auctions displayed in the Supper Club room, Sebastien designed a moveable dessert of Meredith sheep’s yoghurt and lemoncello baked cheese cake, candied citrus and mint served in a glass. Guests were able to enjoy the dessert while leisurely browsing the many tempting items including holidays, precious items and a tailored meal for 10 in the Australian Museum designed and delivered by Restaurant Associates.
